A robust and wide-ranging knowledge in the fields of Cranes/Lifting, and Plant & Hydraulics will ideally be shored-up with an HNC (or equivalent) or above - Engineering degree. You’ll comfortably assume the role of primary contact with the company’s high-value client, accordingly responsible of all services provided within the contract’s scope.
Other accountabilities will include;- Management of offshore personnel - Active engagement with the Contracts department and the clients’ maintenance team Contribution to OPEX & CAPEX budget preparation & consistent tracking - Preparation of detailed work plans & schedules Liaison with all company departments to ensure the wider umbrella of services that the company delivers cohesively are available to support these plans Assistance with compilation of associated invoices and financial reports - Compilation of monthly management & technical reports and, - Ensuring statutory compliance (LOLER, HSE, Performance Standards, Safety Case & such).
The attribute of effective communication at all levels spanning deck-crew to senior management is a non-negotiable, as are the instinctive ability to manage & co-ordinate a team (initially comprising 6), Management of maintenance campaigns, strong and considered planning, and exemplary execution of the demands of this key role.
