An opportunity has arisen to join a well regarded Private Training Company delivering a wide range of high quality training and key/functional skills into the retail industry. Our client specialises in training learners between 16 - 18 years wishing to follow apprenticeships and work-based programmes assisting them to achieve new skills. GPRS have been engaged to shortlist a number of top calibre training professionals to help manage and complement their existing and very successful team, and are seeking to attract only the finest talent.

Role Purpose
To mentor and assess the Retail Apprenticeship programmes, predominately working with learners in the 16 -18 year old age bracket, managing and supporting learners both remotely and via regular meetings at their place of work (High Street fashion retailer)

Role Responsibilities
Assessing candidates in all aspects of Retail Apprenticeship (including Technical Certificate, NVQ and Key/Functional Skills).
Providing candidates with individual feedback and actions as specified in the assessment plan and Individual Learner Plan.
Providing candidates with guidance.
Providing a high quality of support and mentoring for all learners.
Ensuring all portfolios are completed to a high standard and submitted for IV check in timely manner.
Demonstrating credibility and confidence to store management

Non Negotiables
1. You must have some proven work experience within fashion and retail ( Store Assistant, Store Manager or an Assessor)
2. You will hold the A1, D32 D33 or TAQA qualification or equivalent.
3. You will be IT competent.

Desirable
Will hold a V1 Certificate.
