Boasting Investors In People and Matrix accreditation's, our client specialises in helping students aged 13-19 and adults wishing to follow apprenticeships and work-based programmes assisting them move into employment or further education. This role requires a proactive individual with ambition and a passion for people development along with a "can do" attitude and a desire to deliver and pass on knowledge within the Construction industry whilst being able to demonstrate quality. Focused upon delivering a high quality service to learners you will be responsible for delivering Construction Skills training programmes to small groups of learners from local schools.

The ideal candidate we are seeking is someone who has occupational trade experience in Construction (carpentry, brickwork and painting & decorating) with a good knowledge of the process involved in assessment and teaching. Candidates that hold an assessors award and a relevant teaching qualification will be of an advantage, although those that do not posses these, but have exceptional occupational background in the construction industry, will be considered. Candidates of choice must have the willingness and ability to work with a mixed range of young adults.

Non negotiable for this role are good communication and IT skills, well developed written and oral skills along with a flexible and reliable approach to responsibilities. We also seek a self motivator with an outgoing personality, good organisational skills and the ability to work on their own initiative. Candidates will also be subject to CRB checks.
