This role requires a proactive individual with ambition and a passion for people development. Working with candidates that are completing various apprenticeship programmes you will be responsible for coaching learners on an embedded Skills for Life / Functional Skills programme.
This is an office based role and contact with learners will be predominantly over the phone, by email, social media and Webinars. Supporting the learners to achieve the qualification within the agreed timescale, you will also be responsible for accurate input into management systems, building and maintaining regular communication with learners and clients, excellent customer service and working to achieve targets.
With a teaching qualification of PTLLS or above you will have delivered Skills for Life / Functional Skills - adult Literacy & Numeracy to learners in a previous role and hold a relevant literacy / numeracy qualification at level 3 or above. You will need a confident telephone manner when delivering phone support to learners and be able to work to deadlines, have the ability to prioritise tasks to meet targets, clients and business needs.
Non negotiables for this role are excellent communication and excellent IT skills, well developed written and oral skills along with a flexible and reliable approach to responsibilities. A self motivator with an outgoing personality and ability to work on your own initiative with exceptional organisational skills.
