Centre Manager and Quality Manager - Leicester


Location: Leicestershire > Leicestershire

My client is a national training provider who is looking for an experienced Quality Manager - Centre Coordinator to join their team.

The Role
Maximise the performance, efficiency and effectiveness of the business in attainment of positive outcomes for learners.
To manage the development and delivery of training programmes to meet contractual and awarding body requirements.
To develop and ensure compliance to quality procedures.

Job Tasks
Act a Key Knowledge Holder for the funded training sector, supporting the business development team when necessary.
Oversee and ensure the IV system in all subject areas is developed, performed and maintained to meet all stakeholder and body requirements.
Preparation and overseeing training of programmes and materials.
Assist in the research and development of training programmes and implement business-wide electronic portfolio and IV systems.
Supervise the development of learners to improve their ability to progress into employment, further training or further education.
Ensure continuous improvement of the centre and processes in conjunction with the Compliance Manager and Operations Manager.
Liaise with Heads of Subject Areas and other managers to ensure continuity and success of training programmes.
Act a a Key of Knowledge Holder for the funded training sector within the business.
Provide input into the business decision making processes with particular regard to the funded sector.
Ofsted grading of Good or Outstanding across all provisions.

Non Negotiable
Previous management experience in the sector, with change management experience desirable.
PGCE or equivalent other teacher/trainer sector.
Experience of delivery within the private sector.
Experience and a deep understanding of the requirements of stakeholders including SFA, Ofsted and Awarding Bodies.
Knowledge of accredited qualifications and public funded training schemes.
Sets and agrees budgets in conjunction with senior management and has ownership for P&L across defined areas of the business.
Makes complex decisions often involving unique problems, or requiring novel solutions or the conceptualisation of decisions.
