Welfare to Work Guidance Officer required.
Main Responsibilities
To develop, promote and provide a range of guidance and support services to job seekers referred under Welfare to Work programmes.
To work with employers and other partner organisations and to prepare and support job seekers into sustainable environment.
Meet and exceed contractual welfare to work programmes.
Help, plan, organise and deliver employment related skills training to candidates.
Liaise with other agencies and employers in order to provide appropriate and timely work trails for candidates.
Meet and exceed contractual performance requirements on placing candidates in sustainable employment.
Compile and maintain management and related statistical information in accordance with requirements.
Employer and Partner Engagement
Liaise with a range of partner organisations in order to provide support and services that meet the needs of the clients. These will include Bolton Council, Business Bolton and a network of sub - contractors.
Provide CV workshops and prepare CV's for individual clients as necessary.
Provide regular 1:1 information advice, guidance and mentoring support to case-load clients.
Undertake client skills and needs assessments and diagnostics, prepare and review action plans.
Provide training and support to candidates in compiling letters, job applications and other paperwork.
Liaise with in-house trainers, colleges and training providers to source skills training appropriate to the needs of the job seeker.
Provide a follow up aftercare skills training service to clients to support sustainability of employment.
Monitor and evaluate client feedback on services provided.
Liaise with partner organisations and employers to match candidates to vacancy needs.
