Having started out as an office junior working with one of the worlds leading suppliers of IT and office equipment Martina's hard work and potential was swiftly recognized. Resultantly she was promoted to Supervisor of a 6-strong team of credit control professionals during her third year with the business. No mean feat at an early age considering overall responsibility for numerous corporate accounts and the collection and management of a monthly ledger totaling £1.3m.
Relocation of the accounts department to London necessitated a move to a similar role within a leading UK electrical group. A career-crossroads ensued, and Martina took stock and canvassed opinion on how her key attributes of account management and polished interpersonal skills could be best employed. A leap of faith resulted in a move into the professional recruitment sector, with no looking back.
In early 2006 she joined a notable regional recruitment business, working with a diverse range of clients in both commercial and industrial sectors. Having built robust business relationships with some of the regions largest accounts, Martina graduated to become a highly successful Account Manager with a reputation for a thorough understanding of the requirements of roles that were specific, challenging and often highly technical.
With a deeply engrained vigor for the rewards recruitment can offer to those who invest time and effort Martina regularly found herself winning achievement awards and thrived upon being at the forefront of one of the most successful divisions within the company. Martina brings to GPRS vitality, passion and tenacity for ensuring that all concerned within the professional permanent recruitment process achieve a successful outcome.
In her spare time Martina enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, which can often involve a trip to the Algarve to accompany her Mother to sip Sangria on the beach. Closer to home with a passion for music Martina often lets her hair down with friends at concerts and festivals weather permitting.
